Education and Professional Background

Wellman Shew is a Fresno native who graduated from Central Union High School and earned a bachelor’s in business administration from California State University-Fresno in 1981.

After completing his bachelor’s degree, he became a licensed California insurance producer in 1982 and established himself as one of California’s best insurance professionals ever since.

His first position as an insurance professional was as a broker for Fraser & Associates in Fresno. He worked with Fraser & Associates for eight years before joining other insurance agencies before founding Shew & Company Insurance Services.
